In 1990, the Norwood Pick ‘n Pay Hypermarket in Johannesburg, South Africa, created a pizza that measured 37.4 meters (122 feet) in diameter. This enormous pizza was a community effort involving various local businesses and volunteers.
It required 4,500 kilograms of flour, 1,800 kilograms of cheese, and 900 kilograms of tomato sauce. The event not only set a record but also brought the community together for a fun and memorable day.
