The Party-Crashing Alexa

Voice assistants are designed to make our lives easier, but they can also create unintended chaos. One night in Germany, a resident's Amazon Alexa device decided to throw a party while its owner was away. Due to a glitch, Alexa began blasting music at full volume, much to the annoyance of the neighbors.

The situation escalated to the point where the police were called to break up the "party." They had to force entry into the apartment to turn off the device. This incident shows that while voice assistants are helpful, they can also act unpredictably, leading to some rather amusing — and loud — AI fails.

The Rampaging Robot

At the China Hi-Tech Fair in Shenzhen, a robot named Xiao Pang, also known as "Little Fatty," went rogue and caused quite a stir. Designed to interact with children aged four to twelve and display facial emotions on its screen, Xiao Pang suddenly started ramming into a display booth. The impact sent shards of glass flying, injuring a young boy nearby.
