Deep in the Naica Mine of Chihuahua, Mexico lies a cavern filled with crystals so massive that they dwarf the humans who venture inside. These selenite crystals, some reaching lengths of up to 39 feet, were discovered in 2000.
The cave's scorching temperatures, often exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit with 90% humidity, create a unique and hostile environment where these crystals formed over hundreds of thousands of years.
