The Twin Lives of Twin Brothers

In 2002, twin brothers from Ohio, Jim Lewis and Jim Springer, reunited after being separated at birth and adopted by different families. Astonishingly, despite growing up apart, both Jims had been named James by their adoptive parents.

They both married a woman named Linda, divorced, and then remarried a woman named Betty. They both had sons, one named James Alan and the other named James Allan. Their careers mirrored each other's as well, with one working in law enforcement and the other as a security guard.

A Writer's Premonition

In 1898, Morgan Robertson wrote a novella titled "Futility" about a British ocean liner named Titan that sinks in the North Atlantic after hitting an iceberg. The ship in the story was described as unsinkable, carried insufficient lifeboats, and had a similar size and speed to the RMS Titanic, which sank 14 years later under almost identical circumstances.
