Eggs can crack easily when boiling. To prevent this, make a small pinhole at the larger end of the egg with a pin or needle before boiling. This allows air to escape and reduces the chance of cracking.
For a large batch of hard-cooked eggs, try baking them. Place eggs in a muffin tin to keep them from rolling around, and bake at 325°F (160°C) for 25-30 minutes. This method is great for preparing eggs for salads or deviled eggs.
