Stroboscopic photography is a fascinating technique that uses a series of flashes to capture multiple phases of motion within a single image. This method reveals the path of moving subjects in a way that a single exposure cannot.
For instance, a photo of a gymnast performing a somersault can show each stage of the flip in one composite image. This technique was famously utilized by photographer Gjon Mili, whose work with Pablo Picasso produced the iconic "light drawings" series.
